lost my channels

i have been decorating and moved my tv, now i've lost my channels ! I can watch netflix, bbc and stv plus recorded things, but no actual channels are there any more . what have I done ?

OK, so if you're watching Netflix then you have an internet connection from your box which proves something,

Do you get any error messages on live TV?

It loads to 16% then stops s101 shows up not sure if thats an error message ?

I'd say you've got the basis for a call to Virgin to say "my TV isn't working, and this is what's happening", yes!!

Power off the TV box. Check that the connections of the coaxial cable from the TV box to the wall socket are tight and reboot the box.

Must admit I'd assumed the OP had a TiVo box and therefore the internet & TV share the common connection. But if they have a V6, you're right..

The OP has reported only apps not working, so this looks like a problem with the DVB-C transmission which I suspect is due to a cable connection as there has recently been an equipment move during a redecoration. I agree that it's more likely if it's a V6 as a break in the connection of a TiVo would cause everything to fail.
