The mods can’t make this change.

Your choice is to call to arrange this change or take the generous option to pause payment for sports.

im sure the mods are in contact with virgin im offering to pay the same amount just swapping sports for films temporarily

Then you'll have a very, very long and frustrating wait. The Mods are not authorised to make changes to packages, even in normal times. And times are not normal and the Mods are in short supply. None of the normal VM Forum Team members are here at the moment.  The advice you have been given to phone in and discuss is correct. Anything else you might think is just wishful thinking.

Do be careful if you do, my wife inquired on behalf of my in-laws. Told they could swop from sports to movies whilst sport was off due to covid and switch back to the existing price no problem.....Nope.. My wife rang last week to switch back and was told by a most argumentative adviser that they must now pay  £118 and not the £91:25they were before the switch so it's gone up £26:75!!!!! . They were offered £91:25 when they wanted to disconnect January and now because they switched it's classed as a new contract.. absolutely disgusting, fleecing the pensioners. All sides of the family will not be renewing our contracts.

pointless now as you can't pause shy speeds.
And why would they let you swap.

Movies ae showing movies as normal. your pause was due to no sports.

We wouldn't necessarily swap these but while the sports were able to be paused and this price was credited to the account you may be able to add Sky Movies as we can do normally, although after the sports are unpaused this would increase the price all together so we don't recommend this.
