YouTube not working

Hi

 

i have seen other posts but not seen a solution. Trying to access YouTube from channel 198 but I just get a wheel suggesting it is loading. I have left it over an hour but nothing. 

The box is plugged into the router directly with a cable. 

any help?

Hi what box do you have a V6 or the older tivo. Regards Micky

Are you able to access YouTube via the app? Do you have any problems when using any other streaming service?

Hi

 

youtube works fine on an iPad or laptop. All other streaming services on the virgin box seem to work. However using the virgin box for YouTube doesn’t work. You choose channel 198 and it says it is you tube and you click red button to continue. But if you click the red button you just get a purple loading circle but it never loads. It just keeps going around and around.

Hi i would say it's an internet issue perhaps your signal is not strong enough, as YouTube is a streaming service, hence the earlier questions regarding your connections etc. Regards Micky

Ok so should I complain to Virgin then as it has only suddenly stopped working. But nothing else is struggling. We are watching a movie on Disney + as I type this. YouTube works on WiFi on everything else. BBC iPlayer etc all work on the TiVo box. It’s just YouTube that doesn’t work.
