Hello

During the first part of lockdown due to Covid Virginmedia did give the customers a load of free TV channels, but that offer has now finished, this was done automatically.

Where was this seen you said google but didn't give any reference as there is nothing else than the above.

Hi Luke,

I read the article earlier.

Sky and Virgin Media have a new rival ...and the best news is that it won't cost you a penny to tune-in.

Media player Plex is no stranger to shaking up the market, with the firm launching a free video on-demand service late last year. And now, it's adding live channels to its no-cost offering too.

Plex says its new Live TV feature will be available for Apple TV, iOS devices, Roku, Amazon Fire, Android mobile, Android TV, and web desktop, with updates for Smart TVs and gaming consoles in the works right now.

So it's not being added to Virgin or Sky

Dave

There is also free Pluto TV (as it's ad-supported), app is on the V6.

'There is also free Pluto TV (as it's ad-supported), app is on the V6'

let's be honest, pluto tv isn't showing episodes of eastenders, the fa cup final or the latest blockbuster films. they show cheap. whole channels of shows which have low audience ratings. plex will be the same.

if you like endless episodes of judge judy, a film from 1975 you can't find any reference to on imdb and want to see a rolls royce being restored over 26 one hour episodes you are laughing.

If you want EastEnders or the FA cup final you get it on Freeview or Freesat. All these free TV channels and apps give you other stuff, and the fact that advertisers support them indicates that there is a market for these programmes.
