I bought a series on the virgin media store about a week ago but cannot watch it - the tv just keeps saying there has been an error ES072 and to try later. Obviously I have kept trying and no luck.
very annoying as I have spent 14 pound on a series I can’t watch. I have tried and it works on the phone app but wanted to watch it as a family on the main tv.

Are you sure that your V6 is connected to an HDMI port on your TV which supports HDCP 2.2 as not all ports on some TVs not the same?
What’s your TV’s make and model and which HDMI port are you using?

Hi there... it is a Samsung curve UE55HU7200U.
I am not sure if it supports it I had a look on the back and can’t see anything labelled as HDCP
I am using the first hdmi port which is labelled STB
Use HDMI3, should be marked MHL:
" HDCP 2.2 can only use the HDMI(MHL) port. HDCP is short for 'High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection'and is for video copyright protection.”
