Using old Tivo Box

Hi - I just gone from multi room to single box. Virgin don't require the return of the spare box. As I'm still a virgin customer, is it possible to use this box to watch freeview channels only?

No, it will get de-activated from the cable network.

Re: Using old Tivo Box

Thanks.

Still seems to work, but only providing channel 4 and channel 5, not BBC or ITV. Will pose the question to virgin.

cheers

Re: Using old Tivo Box

There's only a handful of channels that must be broadcast unencrypted and are therefore free to view. Whatever you get now is a bonus but won't last for long.
