I have received the letter stating I need to upgrade to Virgin's Smarter TiVo box, for free.
I go into my account to order, however there is a one off £30 TiVo activation fee, even though I am going for self installation and collect from a local outlet.
How can this be ? I paid the one off activation fee on my first TiVo box, 6 years ago.
I tried to ring the helpline a few days ago but did not get through due to my place in the queue and it was close to the phone lines closing for the day
