As of 24/08/20 was unable to watch television via Tivo box. Not a new problem but usually rectifies itself shortly after. However this problem is persisting. Checked out status for our location: area 20 and no known problems was the result.
Ran a test for the TV & received the whoops message. Checked out the same tool but for the phone with an okay result.
Just before posting message checked status again & discovered Virgin are finally aware with a fix estimate of 26/08/20 @ 21:10.

Well an update,
Job presumably completed successfully. As I used the text option for job completion. Still pending. However the local status is okay via account logon check on checking today 27th. It seems the TiVo box was on a slow fade as it's not working at all now.
Well on to a new message to a member of the forum team to case this up. As phoning Virginmedia is a painful process. Since the people who receive the phone calls for straightforward queries or requests sort them out. But when not straight forward they try to be helpful. I suspect they are wearing blinkers which can make them appear unhelpful. Not by choice.
