Tivo box not starting.

I have a tivo box as a second service on the contract. For 4 days it has been stuck with "starting up" on the TV screen, no matter how many times I've rebooted it. The diagnostics say it is OK so they seem to be checking the network connection not the customer side of the box. Been on hold with virgin faults for over an hour with no answer. Anyone any idea how to get the fault resolved?

Stay on the line to VM Faults. It will almost certainly be the quickest way to resolve this.
