TiVO v6 on demand not working

Hi.


I keep getting’This show is temporarily unavailable’ when trying to access on demand tv. The screen asks me to try troubleshooting the on  Demand in help and settings or go to virgin media.com/servicestatus .

I’ve tried everything ie rebooting, checking connections , Tried to check service status but is unavailable.

Please help.

What code is shown on the error? Do you have a 4k TV?

Hi Ben,

it is connected to 4K TV - error code 603 - went through all steps - still no luck.

haven’t used on demand for a while - but it did used to work.

What's your TV make and model? What else do you have connected?

The recent box update has enabled HDCP 2.2 for On Demand when the V6 box is set to 2160 so it's important you have a compatible TV and the box is on the right input.

Just to clarify...

can you reduce your video output to 1080 and confirm whether you're able to watch VOD?

If yes... then your issue is HDCP 2.2 compatibility, perhaps post back with specific model numbers of your connected equipment and we may be able to advise further.

If no.. then with confirmation then others on here may be able to put some thinking caps on!

Thx for suggestion.

I’m afraid VOD still doesn’t work when switching to video output to 1080.

No unfortunately still not working - neither is the TV service test diagnosis.
