Like others in this community, I’ve had my Virgin TV remote for many years - certainly for at least 5 years and it’s simply worn out. Some of the buttons don’t / only work if you press really hard and much of the labelling on the buttons has disappeared.
I really need a new remote but simply can’t get through on the helpline to order as the wait times are too long. Surely there should be an easier way of sending a message / email with my account details and one can be popped in the post?
You could try the text messaging service. Just send a text with a description of new remote to 07533 051809. Your message will go into a queue and a representative will respond to you as soon as possible. It may take a few days.
Or if you do decide to phone then you need the TV Faults option when dialling 150 from a Virgin landline, or 0345 454 1111, but best to call at 8am to avoid call queues
