TV not activated

Hi,

Signed up for a Virgin account (TV and broadband). Got a self start box. Internet is working but the TV only has a few channels on it (BBC1, ITV, Ch4, Ch5). Nothing seems to work to get it started. I've tried resetting, following on screen help, have spent a total of 4.5 hours on the phone waiting to speak to someone only to be cut off each time.

Appreciate there are bigger issues at the moment but I'm sure Virgin will go right ahead and be able to charge my account for the poor service I'm getting. 

Can anyone help??
