TV Control Stuck at Checking Activation Status

I’ve just downloaded the Virgin TV Control App and can’t get past the ‘Checking Activation Status’ stage. I’ve tried it on multiple devices (iPhone, iPad) and having the same issue on all. I’m on the same network and my internet speed is strong. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it but still no luck. Any help would be hugely appreciated.
