I have twice recorded the film "The Fugitive" on TCM recently. On both occasions, the film played with no dialogue. There was background sound and music, but no speech. It is like TCM put on the wrong version - ready to have dialogue dubbed over the top
Is there any way to contact Virgin / TCM to let them know?
That's why I was wondering if it did it when watching it live. If there was no dialogue watching it live then its probably broadcaster issue but if it was ok live but missing voice on recordings then it may be a software/encryption issue.
Sounds like TCM screwed up again, a few months ago they repeatedly showed the Hitchcock movie "Strangers on a Train" with the sound several minutes out of synch. I contacted them via their Facebook page "TCM Movies UK" and they apologised and said it would be fixed for next broadcast and it was.
