Star Trek Discovery

Why is Star Trek Discovery not available on catch up? It is on E4 on Sundays.

Before you ask I do not have Netflix.

Re: Star Trek Discovery

I assume it's asking you to wwatch via Netflix? If so press the Blue button and if I recall it should make it load via normal catchup and not Third party apps.

Re: Star Trek Discovery

The current episodes of Star Trek Discovery are all old and even All4 doesn’t have any episodes as shown by this screenshot from the All4 app:

Re: Star Trek Discovery

It's possible Channel 4 only managed to get the broadcast rights and Netflix has exclusivity for streaming/on-demand.

It does sound like it. I have seen a few news articles suggesting this, but nothing definitive:

"But according to Den of Geek Netflix still retains the same rights to Discovery, and is still able to release new episodes the day after they debut in the USA. Presumably they still plan on doing this, because they paid a goddamn fortune for those rights and it would be stupid not utilise them. It's unclear what that means for Discovery being on All 4."

Re: Star Trek Discovery

*I forgot to record it. Hence the need to watch on catch up.

Re: Star Trek Discovery

You can set a series link at any time so if ep 5 was the next one up set from that one and it will automatically record the rest.
