Can I suggest that no-one submits a post to this thread stating that the problem is resolved until we get independent verification. It just confuses matters, and even if things have improved for you personally, you don't know the situation elsewhere. The evidence is showing that the vast majority of those originally reporting the problem are still affected.
I'd prefer if the MOD Team could provide the official updates on behalf of the broadcasters so we can all get independent information.
Got this crazy response from Freeview, why won't they understand that the problem is a regional problem more than one customer on different platforms!
Here is the reply I'm referring to:
Thank you for your email dated 23 October which has been passed to myself for response.
I am very sorry to learn that you are experiencing difficulties with your Freeview TV reception. In order to assist you further, would you please provide me with your full postcode, house number, make and model number of your Freeview equipment.
I had already given Freeview a couple of links referring to the forums that people have been reporting the issues on and yet they have the audacity to ask me for my details personally absolutely crazy.
Same here in Perth. I had World on Fire recorded on my TiVo box and found it so annoying I spent ages trying different settings on the box and the TV as well as pulling out cables and checking them. Still happening.
