Sky Documentaries - PIN Entry for EVERY programme.

OK, I could sort of understand having to enter a PIN to watch a documentary rated as 15 (though I couldn't see why), but for every new programme without having changed channel.

It becomes even more annoying as I'm a pensioner living alone.  Why can't I just enter an acceptance to watch 15 or even adult permanently as with the other channels.

Re: Sky Documentaries - PIN Entry for EVERY programme.

Mandatory Daytime Protection is used on most Sky channels now in order that programmes can be shown out of watershed.

If you tune away from the channel that is showing an out of watershed programme & come back, or a new programme begins it will be requested again.

As it was originally with the Sky Cinema channels, it is an OFCOM requirement & cannot be bypassed.
