Service activation required error code m63

Hi. We got a new box in our living room and the engineer but the old one in another room. He hooked the old one up and for a time we we actually able to see what we had recorded on the new box. 

Now we are getting service activation required on old box error code m63. We can't record, vire the guide or apps etc. 

Ive tried to ring but can't get through to anyone in virgin. Also I tried to connect to the virgin media service through the settings to no avail.

Can anyone help?
