Roku help

I do NOT have a tv aerial, i watch virgin tv through hdmi 1. My query is I have a Roku stick connected to hdmi 2. When I watch the roku stick any planned recordings do not record on my virgin box. Is this a way around this please.

Re: Roku help

In my opinion, there is no way that your watching a different source on your TV can influence the recording capability of your Virgin Media V6.

Re: Roku help

Think of a streaming stick as a way of smartening your TV as you will have a bunch of apps which your TV either doesn't provide or provides poorly (TV apps can be notoriously slow in being updated). Note the word "streaming" as there is no recording. Nevertheless the Roku and your VM box will probably give you access to all the TV shows and films you need.
