Retentions team

Hi,

So I left for Sky and then received a call from Virgin's retention team with an offer I agreed on so I left Sky and went back with Virgin. I was told I would get an email with my new contract attached. I haven't received one and when I log onto my account the contract is still showing as my old one hours later. Is this normal? Anyone else had a similar experience? Does it take a day or two for the contract to be sent?
