Resetting telephone password

Hi All,

My 80yr old mother has managed to subscribe to a channel by mistake and to cancel we have to phone up. However, we don’t know the password it asks for. How can this be reset as I can’t get past this stage to speak to someone? Been trying to sort this for 2 weeks and getting really annoyed at the difficulty in speaking to someone. Thanks.

Hi EllieBee,

The telephone password is actually the memorable word that was set up with the account, usually something along the lines of mothers maiden name.

VM can send a reminder through the post.

When phoning if you keep inputting the wrong password, or don't input one, then the call should be picked up by an agent who can ask other questions to validate the account holder.
