Refund for sports packages

I'm just wondering if we will be getting a refund on sports as I pay for BT Sport and Sky Sports. Obviously Virgin / Sky / BT Sports will not be paying to broadcast sports fixtures as they no longer exist so why are we the costumer still paying for sports?

Re: Refund for sports packages

This has been discussed on many existing threads.

The current situation is that most sporting events are postponed, not cancelled. As time goes on this may change. But for the time being Sky & BT are not refunding their own subscribers or varying their agreements with Virgin, which would allow them to refund you. There is always the option if you subscribe separately to the channels to give your 30 days notice & re-subscribe again later.

Virgin BB TV Landline. Freeview/Freesat HD, Virgin Mobile, Tesco Mobile. Cable customer since 1993

Re: Refund for sports packages

It's a tricky one. BT is part of my tv package and they show German football now. But Sky has nothing.
