Past 6 months picture quality is terrible, pixelated. New TV few months ago, no problems watching Netflix etc, only virgin TV. So must be the box.
Spent couple of full days using their text service, engineer was supposed to come out, never appeared.
They sent out a new booster (this has helped with broadband reach)
Problem is TV. I think I need a new set top box or hub.

Pixellated pictures on live TV is generally a signal fault, assuming you've restarted your box once.
Call Virgin faults (150 or 0345 4541111) explain your symptoms, and they should either replace your box or arrange an engineer visit.
