Plug size for tv box cable

Hi,

What size is the pin/plug for the tv box please? Have bought replacement 5v 2A AC/DC adapter with multiple pin/plugs but none seem to fit.

Thank you.

Re: Plug size for tv box cable

Hi what end are you talking about if its the wall socket its a standard 13amp plug, don't you have the lead that came with the TV box, if not then you need to phone virgin for a replacement from them. Regards Micky

Re: Plug size for tv box cable

Thank you Micky. The puppy ate the lead unfortunately.

I mean the bit that goes in the box, I have bought a lead from Amazon with different size ends but none seem to fit. Is it not a standard size, can only virgin supply? I was trying to buy myself for speed.

Thank you

Re: Plug size for tv box cable

Really shouldn't be using third-party cables connected to VM equipment, it can too easily cause noise issues that affect services for other users without your realising.

What cable is it you need replacing? The white connector lead that plugs into the coax connector on the back of the V6? Do you have a photo of the damaged one?

Re: Plug size for tv box cable

Thank you. I've tried to attach a photo but it says file too large.

It's not the white cable, it's the black power cable for the TV box. Thank you.
