During the last few days my virgin tv is showing pixelated stripes frequently (every 5 secs or so) on the screen. It seems to appear on all channels. I’ve checked the cables are tight and rebooted numerous times, but issue keeps occurring. It’s really annoying and I’m now watching most stuff from my laptop. Not great really as I’m paying for this service so I can watch a TV, not a small laptop screen. Can anyone from Virgin pick this up and help please. Thanks.
Have you tried a different working HDMI cable and a different port on the TV?
Also, have you looked at Check service status at the top of the page? You can also a run a test on your equipment from there.
If nothing is showing you could also try the Service Status number 0800 561 0061. This often gives details of more local issues down to postcode level.
If nothing above helps then you need to contact the Faults team.
You could try the text messaging service. Just send a text with a description of TV Faults to 07533 051809. Your message will go into a queue and a representative will respond to you as soon as possible.It may take a few days.
You can also call 150 from a Virgin landline, or 0345 454 1111, options 1,1 and 2 (Faults) butbest to call at 8am to avoid call queues
When calling Faults you will go through a series of questions/tests, if that doesn't resolve the problem then call back around 10 minutes later and an agent should pick the phone up.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I’ve tried a different cable and different ports, but the problem is still there. I’ve also checked if there are any faults in my area, but nothing. I’ll will try and phone 150. Hopefully I will be able to get through. Haven’t had much success in the past.
