Pixalation/interferance

Been hoing on for months getting worst when it happens not on every channel and not at the same times day to day.

Had engineer comr and check it out already and he changed loads of components but issue still happening

I'm seeing massive pixelation as well.

Been really bad for a few weeks now. Can't get through on the phone, or chat, so having to come here instead. 

Have rebooted router (lots), rebooted both V6 boxes (they both have the same issue), and unplugged/reconnected everything.

On 350mbps with the full package.

Mainly seems to affect all Channel 5 channels, paramount, Sony, and Channel 4 channels for us.

Can we please confirm if you still need some assistance with this?

 

If so, could you please run through a pin hole reset of the Hub using the pin sized hole on the back?

Can you also please run through the below steps and let us know how this goes?

Home> Help&Settings> Settings> Network> Connect to Virgin Media Service Now

Hi Emily, 

Thanks for the reply. The Connect to VM Service comes back successful as does a Test Network Connection. 

Before I reset my V6 boxes (as previously mentioned there are 2), could you please explain how an issue requiring a full reset would hit both boxes on exactly the same day and in exactly the same way. 

Also, will a pinhole reset wipe our recordings? As this has impacted both our boxes at the same time I'm a bit sceptical that a wipe will fix the issue (especially as I've not seen others asked to do this without any tests beforehand)

The pin hole reset of the Hub does not affect your Tivo boxes no.

 

We're running through these tests to diagnose this and try to fix these.

We ended up getting all tv box we had a old one so nkw have the newest ine and he put a boosters and changed how our tv and internet was wired so far so good tho we still have blackspot issues in 2 rooms in the house
