Your payment date is dictated by your billing date, rather than being set on its own. If you call Virgin C/S on 150 or 0345 4541111, they should be able to change your billing date - the payment date will often differ by +/- a day or so, but the bill date is fixed.
Be aware if may cause short-term issues with your bill cycle and create some larger/smaller bills as your cycle changes.
