I was recently told that to reduce my tv Broadband and landline package to the basic one would still cost £68 a month even though I am a long standing customer of more than 20 years all the way back to the days of Telewest. We also have two mobile phones on virgin contracts. I was shocked to find that retentions wouldn’t budge on this minimum monthly price despite my loyalty. Even losing the tv service only brings it down to £63. This is absolutely scandalous especially given the fact that my broadband speed is nowhere that of the advertised speed. Other providers in the area are much cheaper. Why can’t retentions show some flexibility for loyal customers like me?
