When i try to go onto on demand or catch up tv nothing loads or appears and i get no error code.

Ok, in which case the first thing is to check your box's internet connection, this is how OnDemand is streamed.
Follow Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Network, and look in the top-right, the connection status is reported here. What is shown?
Is your live TV working ok?
Ive checked the network and the staus and both are working fine or show they are.
My live TV is working and all channels.
In which case, it's a simple thing, but since you've not said... have you restarted the box?
Are you able to use, say, iPlayer or YouTube streaming apps?
