From what I can gather, Virgin Media took over the old Nynex infrastructure. Given there are Nynex floor covers running the entire length of the A56 through Frodsham, aren't you missing a trick not providing broadband and TV to the town?
a cable running though a town is about 1% of the work needed. can the cable carry the capacity? you need to them install cables from that point to every house. Install the boxes fibre converters and amps.
That could cost upwards of a million.
