No channels working but sound does


None of my TV channels are working today and I cannot watch any recordings either. I can see the menus and guides etc and there is sound. I can also watch Netflix’s fine. I have checked my virgin accounts and there are no faults showing, tried to run the online tests which did not work. Called the 150 and their tests show no issues and then directed me back to the website. Live chat started but no response and then said connection was lost. Have tried to turn off TV and internet and re-set and checked all connections already. Any advice on how to resolve ASAP or how I would get an enginer appointment if not. Very unclear from the phone line and website how to try and resolve.

Please try and change the settings on the Virgin box. Screen resolution from 2160 to 1080 or 1080 to 720. 

make sure you have actually rebooted the TV set

try a different hdmi port and a different hdmi cable

tested on another TV
