Re: New TV Boxes

Easy way is to get home plugs. They send the broadband around your electricity circuit. There cheap ie £25ish for 2. Or you can ask virgin for some of there amazing ones with WiFi and it's free depending on what packages your onn.   Homeplug argos are fine and come with the ethernet cables

Re: New TV Boxes

Swf - thanks for your helpful (and civil) response for not making me feel like a freak because I don't want to go down this route - we are exploring some of these options now - we're not old fashioned - apart from football, we've never had any interest in streaming - and OH does most of his through the tablet

Re: New TV Boxes

It's definitely worth it. Just looked 25 for the home plugs or 45 for home plugs and WiFi extender on argos.  You don't have to use WiFi or bb on the v6 box but it's good for catch up or amazon prime/netfix.     I got to wifi home plugs from virgin for free but it required a home visit.    Iv also used the £25 ones form argos at they worked perfect.  Good luck
