I have virgin cable and tivo box (older one).
I watch Netflix fairly often but it is becoming impossible. It hangs every 10 mins or so and gives "we're having trouble playing this title at the moment" message.
The off-on, clear stuff while the box is off tip does absolutely nothing.
Do I need a diff box, a visit from an engineer, or to switch from virgin to someone better?
Someone pls advise.
This is normal for a Samsung Tivo, you should try and get a v6 box as that doesn't have that issue
I will get on it
Further to all this.
So I am unable to get a V6 box because I don't have Virgin broadband.
I really don't understand this.
If the box needs broadband, I have broadband.... Just not from Virgin. And sorry but I am not switching to Virgin for that anytime soon .
Since Netflix is essential in the current era, I am going to have to switch to I guess Sky.
But this seems insane.
I was wondering if anybody has any bright ideas
I just want to be able to watch Netflix on my TV and that just isn't possible it would appear with Virgin right now.
You can get a Roku Streaming Stick+ for £49.99 from major retailers although as an Amazon Prime subscriber I see it at £44.
Those are very practical suggestions that may well salvage the situation.
it might be an idea to hold off getting an Amazon 4K stick for now. Keep on checking the Amazon site as they have flash sales where the firesticks are half price.
