I have tried using netflix through my virgin TiVo box but it doesnt seem to work.
It takes a long time to load up, and when it eventually starts playing a film it stops after c.5mins .
Is this a problem with h TiVo box?

Are you using a TiVo or a V6? Check here if you're not sure.
If TiVo - do you have any flashing lights on the front-left?
If V6 - how is it connected to your homehub for the internet?
Regardless of which box - can you watch other OnDemand services ok?

Hi - it is a Tivo box
When it freezes there is on solid green light on the left and a flashing green light next to it
I tried iplayer after Netflix froze and that wouldn't open up either
The flashing green light means your TiVo's inbuilt internet connection is offline, and so any functions that use the internet (On Demand included) won't work.
That's a fault. I'd recommend calling VM and making specific reference to "my online light is flashing" - it'll need either an engineer visit or box replacement.
