For the last couple of weeks my tv screen blacks out for a few seconds at a time,
There is no consistency time wise between each blackout, I have a v6 box, we have rebooted both box and hub, pushed all leads in making sure all is connected.
Had anyone experienced this or can enlighten what is causing this problem? We are trying to avoid calling out an engineer if possible as there could be a simple solution to the problem.

What are you doing when this blanking happens?
Are you, say, watching live TV channels - in which case which ones?
Are you watching recorded programmes? Or OnDemand programmes?
Are you navigating in the TiVo menus?
Do you have a 4K TV?

Thanks for replying, The black screens are happening across the board, recordings, live tv on demand.
yes I do have a 4K UHD tv.
Does your TV have multiple HDMI inputs - can you try your V6 cable in different ports?
sorry I have been a while getting back to you, we did as you suggested also changed the HDMI cable, it certainly was the problem.
