My TIVO box just stops working

I have a Virgin TIVO and if I watch TV for much more than half an hour it switches itself off and reboots which takes forever. I wouldn't mind if I actually watched lots of TV but I don't. Frustrating when you pay a lot of money for something that doesn't work and you can't actually find any answers other than going through community!

Do you have VM broadband? If so, it that "stable"?

Its probably faulty. Call it in and report it they should just replace it.

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired 2 WiFi,) SH2 in modem mode with Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On VIVID200, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.
