MOVE CABLE

Hi,

We are reorganising our house and need to move our TIVO box from upstairs to a new location downstairs.

In order to do this we need to cable to be moved.

How can we do this? Virgin Media do not seem to offer any engineer services for existing customers.

Hi there

You would need to get in touch with customer services and arrange a relocation of equipment. There is a charge of £99 for box relocations.

Hi,

 

We cannot find any way to get in touch with customer services,

No email. No online chat. Phone only connects to automated service that does not include box relocation or engineer callout as an option. Search on the Virgin website for 'box relocation' and 'engineer callout' returns 0 results. 

Can you help?

Hi,

Thank you for your suggestion.

'Broadband faults' option on the 0345 454 1111 number does not connect to an engineer or to a service that enables us to book an engineer for relocation. It runs an automated test on our broadband and then disconnects. 

This has not resolved the issue in any way.

The automated phone help service does not include this option,

The automated message usually says that if you want to speak with someone hang up and call back within 10 minutes of the test taking place.

They are service providers contracted to supply me with a service. As their website clearly states. 

I need to contact them. It is important. 

Do you have any helpful advice or suggestions to resolve this matter? If so, I would appreciate you sharing them on this forum.

they are supplying the service. you have a point that works. That's not a priority.
