How do you get any help

Messaging on behalf of my elderly father in law who does do technical stuff being in his 80’s. He has recently moved and followed the required process to move his equipment and relevant package ( a/c details available) . Received email reminding him how to pack up his equipment on the 12/9 ready for the move on the 18/9. Having reconnected everything at the new address it doesn’t work. When we log into his virgin a/c there is a message saying he is no longer a customer and has 90 days to download any historic information if required. All he want is his tv working with the same package at his new add
