Message on GREEN screen saying DVR has detected a serious problem and is trying to fix it. Could take 3 hours.
That has now been showing for closer to 5 hours and nothing changed. It says not to turn off/on and to contact Customer Support if that doesn't change. Good luck with that on a saturday evening!
Anybody got any ideas?

Almost certainly a failed hard drive. Call in for a replacement box to be arranged.

2 days later and still same message on screen! Time to endure the wait for someone to talk to me at Customer Service and hope for the best!
