Green Screen on TV

My virgin TV / TiVo box hasn't worked for 3 weeks plus and shows a Green Screen stating

"The DVR has detected a serious problem and is now attempting to fix it.

This will take about three hours.

PLEASE DO NOT UNPLUG OR RESTART THE DVR!

If you have a plasma TV or you are concerned about image burn-in, you should turn off your TV for the next Three hours.

If, after three hours, the DVR does not restart, please call Customer Support."

This has been rebooting the DVR now for 3 weeks and i cannot seem to get hold of anyone via Customer Support to help me!!!

The clue is in the announcement. If it hasn't fixed itself after 3 hours you have a faulty box & need to ring Virgin to get it replaced. This message is usually caused by a failing hard drive in the box & is an unrecoverable condition.

Send a text message to 0753 305 1809 & you should get a callback.
