Fed up with error messages

Last night, for example, I had the following error messages whilst watching one programme which had been downloaded.

no DHCP server, N02 or NO2 ( no sure which but neither visible on the list of error codes on the website) and C133. We are getting error messages virtually every time we want to watch something.

Yes, I can reboot the server - but I don't want to be doing this several times a night - and luckily I can reach down behind the TV to do it - I wouldn't expect my 89 year old mother to do it on a regular basis - so why should I?

Can anyone help identify the problem and work out why the service is so poor?

Yours in desperation!

Re: Fed up with error messages

Virgin TV boxes don't download programmes, they either use broadcast TV channels or OnDemand streaming over the internet - which I presume is what you're asking about?

Which of VM's TV boxes do you have? If you're not sure, check here

Each of them connect to the internet differently, so the subsequent advice differs.
