I am experiencing severe picture distortion/ pixelation on most TV channels. Audio is not distorted. I have run the self test on 150 and the system reset the tivo box. I also reset the box a few days later but still no difference. I have tried other hdmi and scart leads as well as another tv but the issue remains. The connections from the tivo into the virgin box are tight and secure.
The issue is intermittent and does appear to fet worse from early evening 5pm onwards.
Can anyone at Virgin plwase advise on whst can be done to resolve this.
Pixellation is almost always the result of a signals issue, if a reboot hasn't solved it.
Either a faulty box or a problem on the cabling somewhere.
Some further diagnosis may be possible if you say specific channels are affected, but I doubt it'll change the end result that VM need to know about the fault and (probably) arrange either a replacement box or an engineer to check the external cabling.
