I have a broken external cable box. How can i report this as the options via phone are not clear as i do not actually have a fault? I'm concerned water will get in. It's not even clear where to post on here, but would appreciate any help.
In the dim & distant past, I had an identical issue and just reported a fault. When the tech arrived, I explained - and made their day when they realised it was such a simple fix!
Another school of thought is that unless & until you have a fault, then don't worry about it. Although I totally understand why prevention is better than cure. Strictly speaking of course, it's a no fault callout at this stage.
Others may have differing opinions, but I'm not sure there is an official process for this sort of thing.
