Boxswap not working

I have two TiVo (not V6s). Both had the same Season Passes, Thumbs and Wishlists, completed using Boxswap. There are over 300 season passes.

This was achieved using the Boxswap utility.

One of the TiVos has had to be replaced and the Boxswap utility will not update the Season Passes  etc from my second box to the new box. I have tried many times. I've changed which box is the default and I've tried copying just the Thumbs or just the Season Passes but nothing works. Both boxes are correctly attached to my account.

Can anyone help please?

Hi Geoff,

 

Sorry to hear about the issues you've been having with your Tivo settings,

 

Can you please confirm whether you're referring to a series link when you say 'season passes'?

 

If so, the box swap settings transfer does have to be completed a very specific way, or it will not work. Can you please confirm whether you have followed the instructions on here: virg.in/BoxSwacorrectly? If not, give it a try for me and let me know how you get on.

Yes, I meant Series Link. (They used to be called Season Passes on my original Series 1 TiVo!)

I am also trying to copy the other settings. 

I have tried the process numerous times, exactly as described, but trying with various combinations of the options. It says 20 minutes but it has been days now and they have not copied. I have also tried switching which is designated as the Default box but no luck.

I know this works because I used the same function to copy them from te TiVO which has now been replaced to the older TiVo in the first place.

This isn't sorted. I have tried loads of times now and it has not worked. 

I still have the decommissioned box here. I'm wondering if this could be re-enabled temporarily to allow me to copy the things over?

If you are able to look, I am trying to copy from thte box called Bedroom to the box called Lounge.

Sadly we are not able to reconnect the decommissioned box

We'd already dealt with that, I was expecting you to come back with a fix for boxswap not working between my two active boxes.

If you do anything remotely please ensure you do not overwrite or delete the data on the smaller 500Gb box.

We would not be able to do anything remotely from this sides 

The only thing we can ask is if you unplug both boxes connect them back onto the network and try again
