Box frozen

After 2 failed attempts of almost an hour hold to be cut off both times I'm left with no choice but to try and seek answers here. My box keeps freezing it freezes on starting up takes ages to come on the when it eventually does if you try to change channel it completely goes black and freezes like this it's been like this for days now it's now stuck on error code v53 and won't do nothing. I've checked all wires my Internet is fine.

Hi, have you tried a factory reset of the box? Also what box do you have?

We have v6 I think. We've tried holding plus and standby while repowerering as mentioned on a previous post but with no joy
