Being charged twice for netflix

Just realised I am paying twice for Netflix - once via a direct account I am aware of and also £11.99 a month since January via Virgin but I did not sign up for the second account (why would I?), had no acknowledgement of it and do not want it. When I phone Netflix they say speak to Virgin and vice-versa when I speak (by phone eventually) to Virgin. The last time I spoke to Virgin they said it was just part of my package and I wasn't paying any extra but I clearly am paying £11.99 a month extra as an add on. I just want to get it cancelled by Virgin and the monies refunded since January. I wonder how many thousands of other people have unwittingly created a second Netflix account simply by accessing Netflix through their Tivo box. There is something seriously wrong going on here.
