Accessing amazon prime

Found prime video on channel 245, but wont let me access my prime account due to not having a v6 box, I have an older TiVo, is there an update available for TiVo , or are there any plans to make amazon work on TiVo...….or is it possible to get an upgrade to a v6......whats the easiest option

Prime Video will never be available on TiVo.

You can upgrade TiVo to V6, assuming you have Virgin Media Broadband, at a one-off charge of about £130. You may get it cheaper by going through retentions and taking on a new contract minimum period.

A streaming stick from Roku or Amazon Fire TV is another option, but in the longer term the TiVos will have to go.

wow, £130, and I have broadband, ….cheaper to buy a firestick , dump tv , usb storage, and get broadband cheaper elsewhere...probably time to revaluate after 20yrs and move on,, never ever have had any luck with retentions,   thanks anyway Ernie_C
