Unfortunately these are difficult times with large call volumes.
If you are calling CS (150) it can take 60' or longer - just hold on. Calling early 0800-10.00 is usually better. Is there not a specific number to call in the paperwork provided for activating equipment that might get you through quicker - it used to be 0800 953 9500. Try that route.
