Re: virgin tv v6 box unable to acquire channel info

The channel info comes from the Hub's connection to the net. If the V6 isn't getting it ,then it has "lost" the connection.
Is that V6 connected by ethernet cable (best!) or wifi ?

Anyhow, switch the Hub and the V6 off and unplug from the mains and leave 5 minutes. Then switch the Hub on and let it boot up and settle - say 5 minutes (check iHub is connected ok on another device). Then restart the V6, it should then remake the connection ok - if it doesnt then it is either faulty or you have 3 options.
1) Ethernet cable connect it to the Hub (best option)
2) Improve the wifi signal at the V6 location - lots of discussion and suggestions how to do that - on here
3) Connect the V6 to the Hub by good quality powerline adapters (assuming electric circuits connection is ok to support that)

Re: virgin tv v6 box unable to acquire channel info

The LAN also has to be set up as DHCP rather than fixed IP. This applies for registering you V6 box and it being able to update the guide.
