v6 hdmi connection faulty

the connection on my v6 box is very loose and therefore keeps losing picture/sound.when i wiggle it about a bit it comes back on for a while i have tried different hdmi cables but still same problem,hoh can i fix this

Which cable are you saying is loose?

Is this the HDMI between your V6 and your TV? Or the incoming coax cable or adapter carrying TV signals into your box?

Thanks for using the forums to get this issue looked into with your HDMI connection, I am sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I understand its been a week since you last posted, so please let me know if your issue has now been resolved. 

However, if you are still having issues, could I ask if you've checked the HDMI port in the TV as well as the V6 box? 

If you have and its still an issue we can try to send out a replacement V6 for you.

yesi have tried the hdmi at tv and its ok .ihave bought a new hdmi cable and still the same problem.it seems to bo the port on the v6 box thats faulty

Thanks for checking that for me and for coming back so quickly. 

I just need to make sure that all of the cables like the V6 power cable, coax cable, wall sockets and splitter have a hand tight connection. 

Can I  also ask if the poor picture and sound qualities occur on specific channels such as Star and Channel 5?

hi megan
ihave done all that and its all channels .the picture and sound go off completely,but if i wiggle the hdmi lead around at the v6 box end it comes back on for awhile but then goes off again if you move the v6 box i.e, to polish etc
